CLASS POLICY 
1. Classes and lessons are once a week.  
2. A specific time is scheduled for the class and this time is to be adhered to for the duration of  the semester.   
3. If you are unable to attend a class/lesson, as a courtesy please call (201)-344-1758  before your class time. If an emergency is not the reason for absence, please give a 24-hour notice for cancellation.  
4. One-month notice is required to discontinue any  classes/lessons. 
5. Please be advised that classes are time-sensitive, therefore, when scheduled for a  specific time, that time becomes exclusive to that particular student. It is with this in  mind that we stress the importance of time and keeping up with the schedule. Please bear  in mind that when the scheduled student does not show up for class(es), he/she forfeits  that time. 

**There are no refunds or prorated fees for missed lessons/classes.

 

EMERGENCY AND RESCHEDULE
1. If an emergency occurs that forces the studio to close, all lessons and classes will be made  up.  
2. Students who miss lessons because of medical reasons must provide a doctor’s note for  rescheduling. No other reasons will be accepted. 
3. No refunds are given for missed lessons. (School activities, sports games, etc or Spring  breaks and other holidays that differ from the public school system do not qualify for make-up  lessons)  
4. If the teacher misses a class or lesson, it will be rescheduled or made up.  
5. There are NO make-ups for student absences from group classes. 
6. In the event of the teacher not being able to teach in person, lessons will be done virtually.
7. If the student cannot attend the lesson in person, virtual lessons will be offered.
8. Schedule is tight and make ups can only be done at another student's spot in the case of them canceling their lesson. 
*Ms. Flo tries to be as flexible as possible since she also requires flexibility for her family events or emergencies, but it is impossible for her to be able to offer unlimited make ups to over 30 private students. The make up limit is 2 per semester. Any other missed lessons will have to be skipped. 
 

PAYMENT POLICY 
1. Payments are set up automatically and due the 1st of each month.  
2. Monthly payments hold the student's spot in Ms. Flo's schedule. If the student decides to pause the lessons and payment is paused, they are forfeiting their spot.

**Make up lessons are limited to 2 per student per semester. Any other missed lessons will be skipped and there is no prorated fees for missed lessons.

***If a student decides to take a break and stop payments, the student forfeits their spot. The spot cannot be held and will be given to a student on the waiting list.

****If a student wishes to take a break from lessons and wants to save their spot in Ms. Flo’s schedule, the student must keep payments active throughout their break.
